The expo took a hiatus over the past two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
A fixture on the Cape Town calendar, the expo is a premier event on the Muslim calendar showcasing the culture, practices and religious values of the community. It presents a unique opportunity to access the lucrative Muslim market and has enjoyed partnerships with among others multinational brands such as Spar, Jive cool drinks, Rhodes Food Group, Turkish Airlines and Absa. The City of Cape Town has been a strategic partner.
As the world emerges from the Covid-19 pandemic, the event has moved to an outdoor venue, the Green Point track.
2022 will mark the tenth anniversary of the SPAR Cape Town Ramadaan & Lifestyle Expo.
